With the biggest local customer base, any New York SEO company will have to be absolutely fantastic to get to the top.
There may be more customers per square mile in the New York area than any other city, so if your business is based here and you want a local SEO consultant to promote your online interests you know that the following companies will be able to deliver the goods for you:
Trace Media
This New York SEO Company heads up the Google listings for various NYC related SEO keywords and I can see why. It’s a company that just screams ‘class’. And while that’s not exactly what you’ll be looking for in an SEO outfit, it certainly improves levels of trust.
Some good points I have noticed straight away:
- Clean Website – It’s not cluttered or overly busy
- Great Copywriting – The wording on the site is persuasive and at the same time, informative and encouraging
- They use their Google rankings as leverage – Why wouldn’t you believe that a company ranked highly on Google would be able to do the same for you.
- Testimonials on the front page – I trust them more because of this
What I would like is a price list. There’s nothing worse than seeing something you like and then not knowing if you can afford it. I’m guessing that it’s probably out the price range of small businesses but can Trace Media afford to miss out on ANY business. And if they are reasonably priced, I would suggest to them to put some sort of easy to access price-list on their site. While I know that these services are generally bespoke, it’s nice to have even just an indication.
eBrandz, the next New York SEO Company I’m going to look at, on the other hand(z) gives you an indication the instant you set foot on their site.
You can engage their services for as little as $200 and with their claim of being the biggest SEO company in the world you may be convinced you’ve found a winner.
Offering video testimonials (of a total of 2500), some of which are frankly terrible, which isn’t eBrandz fault I suppose, and a free report they’re making every effort to draw in new customers.
In direct opposition, in the arena of a New York SEO Company, and competition, with Trace Media, the website is super cluttered and a little confusing. The site looks nice but honestly, there is too much going on. And I don’t want to belay a point, but the testimonials really turned me off. The site says they have 2500 happy customers and yet the first face you see is someone looking really unhappy.
With a smaller budget you would go for eBrandz sooner than Trace Media, so like many services and products, who you choose depends on your budget and personal tastes.
It’s hard to say which is the premier New York SEO Company, but if you believe your company should be here instead of the two above, contact us and we’ll be happy to discuss.
